Dandelion

Every part of them is edible, the leaf adds great alkalinity to the diet and makes food go down easier! There is a fairly high content of vitamin A, C etc. and minerals like zinc, boron, calcium, magnesium. Really you have to try a bit of the flower leaf(after washing) and root(boiled/peeled and can be dried/powdered to be used as coffee) to believe it's rejuvanating effects. Quite a potent plant so use judiciously ;)
